Yarra Valley Living Centre
...where Magic happens
No matter what is happening in the world, we believe that mere survival is not a worthy option.
At the Yarra Valley Living Centre we hold strong to the principle of ‘living’.
Whether at work or at home, knowing that when we manage and lead ourselves well, everything else somehow falls into place.
Our team have spent many years studying the 'how' and that's what we share with you here.
This Week's Meditation
A Life byDesign or by Default
As we close 2022, it is important to stop and gather up the best of the year...even if it was really difficult. We can either focus on the hardship,
or we can choose to carry forward
the strength, the triumph, the victory.
Our memories are entirely malleable and selective. We know this. Two people experience the same circumstances - one is destroyed whilst the other transformed.
Why not spend a little time before the end of the year to make sure you are telling yourself a powerful and benevolent story about you and your Life.
Then plant that seed of success into the fertile
soil of 2023. From all of us here at the Yarra Valley Living Centre, we wish you a beautiful holiday time and a thriving year ahead.
Our combined research tells us that right now, there are 4 main pillars to living a life from choice
MEDITATION & SPIRITUAL WISDOM
Inner Stability, Clarity and Authenticity
HEALTH & WELLBEING
Physical, Emotional, Mental, Financial
Yours and the World Around You
We are made for connection and belonging
No one ever gave us the manual to being human.
We get shaped by the world around us. There are expectations and demands and we grow and perform (or not) according to the cultural norms.
Here at the Yarra Valley Living Centre, we believe that time is invoking us, calling us to renewal - individually and collectively returning to live from the authentic, sacred part of our being.
On-site and online, this is a co-creative space of like-minded and like-hearted people who walk different paths, respectfully and generously sharing with each other the wisdom that is harvested along the way.
Set in the most breathtaking 40 hectares of Yarra Valley bushland, we walked along tracks beside the tallest Manna Gums and Little Yarra River, watched kangaroos in their groups, looked for wombats and Bower Birds, and shed some of the city stress in the process.
We came from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds with different dietary requirements, however, we all agreed that your Chef created the most delicious and fulfilling Vegan meals and was able to meet any specific dietary need.
At night we retreated to our cosy ensuite rooms, with heating in July, and slept in most comfortable beds. A perfect place for a Retreat or a few days for mental and spiritual wellbeing. We are planning for return visits.
